God's beautiful Rainbow

The rain poured down heavily that afternoon, joined by strong winds that blew the trees from side to side. As a result, all outdoor plans were cancelled.

A little girl, now dressed in her warm sweater, sat next to her mother in the living room, looking out the window.

"Oh no, Mummy," the little girl said with a concerned face. "The rain is too much! Is it going to cause a flood just like in the story of Noah's Ark?"

Her mother wrapped her arms around the little girl, holding her close. "You're right, the rain is heavy," she replied. "But it's not going to cause a flood like the one in Noah's time."

The little girl looked up at her mother with curious eyes. "Why not, Mummy?" she asked.

Her mother smiled and began to explain. "Well, sweetie, the flood that happened in Noah's time was because God was angry because of the bad things people were doing. That is why He instructed Noah to build an ark to save himself, his family, and two of every kind of animal."

The little girl listened intently to her mother's words.

Her mother continued, "But what's important to remember is that after the flood, God made a promise to never again destroy the earth with a flood. He even put a rainbow in the sky as a reminder of that promise."

"Do you know what a rainbow is?" her mother asked.

The little girl's face lit up with a smile. "Yes, Mummy! It's the beautiful colors in the sky after the rain stops. It has seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet!"

Her mother smiled as she heard her little girl. "Exactly, sweetie! That is God’s Beautiful Rainbow! And it reminds us that God will never again destroy the earth with a flood."

As the little girl listened to her mother, she looked out the window again. The rain was slowing down, and the sun was starting to shine through the clouds. The room filled with a warm and cozy light.

The End!

After reading this story for my little ones, they keep watching the rain to see if a rainbow will appear after it stops. How interesting! Thank you.
