"Oh no! This is a sign of bad luck!" a little girl exclaimed as the rain began to fall. Her mother was shocked to hear this, as they had never referred to rain as bad luck before.

The mother realized however, that this was a good opportunity to teach her daughter something important. "Sweetie, why do you think the rain is a sign of bad luck?" she asked calmly.

"I saw it on a TV show," the little girl replied confidently. "The children were going out to play, and when it started raining, they all shouted, 'This is a sign of bad luck!'"

The mother asked, "Okay, but why do you think the rain is bad luck?" The little girl thought for a moment before responding, "I guess it's because I can't go outside to play when it's raining."

The mother smiled. "That's true, but did you know that when it rains, the flowers outside get the water they need to stop being thirsty? Afterward, they blossom and become beautiful with their vibrant colors. And I know how much you love flowers, don't you?"

The little girl listened intently, her eyes widening with realization. "Yes I do!"

The mother continued, "Also, did you know that when it rains, you can still play your favorite games inside the house? You can make a fort or a castle out of towels and bedsheets and go inside it to be safe from the thunder."

The little girl's face lit up. "Oh, Mommy, that would be so much fun!"

The mother concluded, "So, sweetie, it's not right to say that rain is a sign of bad luck. In fact, rain is a sign of God's blessings, as it helps plants grow. And plants give us the food we eat, like beans and bananas."

The little girl smiled, looking out the window at the rain. "I agree, Mommy, rain is a blessing!"
