The next morning, after a delicious breakfast of bread with peanut butter, tea, and banana, Mum and Dad decided to finish the story they had started the day before. "Do you remember where we stopped with the story?" they asked their little boy.
He thought for a moment before responding, "There was a tree that Adam and Eve weren't supposed to eat from."
Mum and Dad exchanged a proud glance. "That's right!" they said. "So sadly, Adam and Eve disobeyed God's instruction and ate from the tree."
The little boy's eyes widened with curiosity. "Then something bad happened to them?" he asked.
Mum and Dad nodded. "Yes, God was disappointed with them, and as a result, they were asked to leave the Garden of Eden. After this, life became harder for them."
The little boy's face showed concern. "Were Adam and Eve sad?" he asked.
Mum and Dad nodded again. "Yes, they were sad, but even in their disobedience, God still loved them. The story of Adam and Eve teaches us the importance of obeying instructions. Just like yesterday when you wanted cookies, but we had to wait. Obeying instructions might be hard sometimes, but it's always for our good.”
The little boy nodded, absorbing the lesson. "Okay, Mum and Dad."
