As the children finished playing with their clay dough during their play date, they had worked up an appetite and wanted to eat snack. After washing their hands, they asked mummy for a snack.

"Alright, go get some chapati from the cupboard," she replied.

However, when they got to the cupboard in the kitchen, there was only one chapati left and yet there were four hungry little children.

They rushed back to their mother, explaining the situation. "Well, this means we have to share," she said with a smile. "Actually, let me tell you a story about sharing."

"One day, Jesus was speaking to a very large number of people. Can you guess how many they were?" she asked them while she broke the chapati into four equal parts for each of them.

"100!" one said. "Maybe 200!" said another

"Hmm, not even close," she responded to them. "There were over 5,000 people!" she said to them as all their eyes opened wide in awe at the mere thought of such a large number of people.

After Jesus finished speaking, the crowd grew hungry. "Guess what?" their mother asked pausing for dramatic effect.

"What?!" they chimed in perfect unison, their eyes wide with wonder.

"There was no food for them!" she continued.

The children looked puzzled.

"But then, a little boy stepped forward with his lunch – 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. He was willing to share his lunch with everyone." The children's faces lit up with excitement.

"But, mummy, was that enough food for so many people?" they asked. Their mother smiled. "That's the amazing part! Jesus took the little boy's food and miraculously multiplied it, feeding everyone with plenty left over!" the mother's face lit up with a warm smile, her eyes sparkling with delight as she shared the wonder of this timeless moment of Jesus’ miracle.

As they finished their snack, the children looked up at their mother with newfound appreciation for sharing. 'We'll always share, Mummy!' they chimed in unison, inspired by the little boy's selfless act.
