Jozen sat beside his mother on the couch, watching their favorite TV show. Suddenly, he turned to his mother with a curious expression.
"Mummy, why does Uncle have a bigger TV than us?" Jozen asked, his eyes wide with wonder. "Can we get one like that too?"
His mother smiled warmly, putting down the book she was reading. "That's a great question, Jozen. But before I answer, can you go get all your toy cars and line them up for me?"
Jozen eagerly jumped up and ran to his room. He returned with all his four toy cars and carefully lined them up on the living room floor: a red sports car, a yellow fire truck, a white police car, and a green concrete mixer.
His mother asked, "What's the difference between all your cars, Jozen?"
Jozen studied his toy cars. "They have different colors... and different sizes."
"Excellent observation!" his mother praised. "But even with these differences, they are all cars, right?"
Jozen grinned, his eyes sparkling. "Yes, Mummy! They're all cars."
His mother smiled. "Just like your toy cars, Jozen, people in life have different things. Some have bigger TVs, like Uncle, while others have smaller ones like we do. Some people have bigger cars or no cars at all. And that's okay."
She continued, "The important thing to remember is to be happy and thankful to God for what you have. Just like how you're happy with your toy cars, even though they're different sizes and colors."
Jozen nodded, his face thoughtful. He looked at his toy cars again, then back at his mother. "I'm happy with my cars, Mummy. And I'm happy with our TV too because I can watch my favorite shows on it!"
His mother hugged him tightly. "Wonderful Jozen! You're learning to be happy with what you have, and that's a valuable lesson for life."
