On your marks ………… Get set………… GO!!!!

The 50-meter race began.

Jozen, excited to compete against his classmates, sprinted forward with all his might. His little feet pounded the ground, but despite his best efforts, he struggled to keep up with his friends.

Crossing the finish line in 7th place, Jozen felt disappointed.

As soon as he arrived home, his father greeted him with a warm smile. "So, tell me, how was the race?" Jozen's face fell, and he looked down. "Daddy, I ran as fast as I could, but I didn't win. I came in 7th place."

His father's expression turned sympathetic. "Did you give it your very best?" he asked gently. Jozen nodded. "Yes, Dad, I tried to run as fast as I could!"

"Okay, Jozen, here's the thing," his father began. "For anything you do, if you give it your very best, that's really what matters! Sometimes you'll win, and other times you won't. And that's okay."

Jozen looked up, his eyes sparkling with determination. "But, Daddy, I want to win all the time!" he exclaimed.

His father chuckled. "It's okay to always want to win. Actually, whenever you set out to do something, give it your very best. But there will be days when you don't win. And that's okay. What's important is that you learn from each experience and keep trying your best."

Jozen's father smiled and gave him a big hug.

"You know what, buddy?" he said, "I'm proud of you no matter what. You gave it your best, and I saw how hard you practiced for the race. I am proud of you."

Jozen's face lit up with a smile, and he hugged his father back tightly. From that day on, Jozen knew that he wouldn't win all the time, but his family would always be there to support and love him.
