The little girl's piercing scream echoed through the living room, accompanied by the unsettling buzzing of a flying cockroach. "Daddy, help!" she cried, her eyes wide with fear. "There's a big cockroach, and it's flying!"

Her father sprang into action, striding confidently into the room. With a swift and decisive motion, he ended the cockroach's flight, eliminating the threat. The little girl's fear began to go away and was replaced by admiration for her father's bravery.

"Daddy, how can I be brave like you?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Her father smiled gently, sitting down beside her. "You might not believe this princess, but I get scared sometimes too," he said, his voice soft and reassuring.

The little girl's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? But you weren't afraid of the flying cockroach!"

Her father chuckled. "That's true, but there are other things that make me afraid. Like when you're playing outside, I worry that you might fall and hurt yourself."

The little girl's expression turned thoughtful. "What do you do when you're scared, Daddy?"

Her father's eyes sparkled with kindness. "I say a special prayer. 'Dear God, please help me not to be afraid. In Jesus' name, Amen.' It helps me feel calm and brave."

The little girl's face lit up with understanding. "I think I can do that too, Daddy!"

Her father hugged her tightly. "Yes you can, princess. And remember, the more you will do this, the easier it will get. You're growing up to be a brave and courageous girl."

As they hugged, the little girl felt a sense of peace wash over her, believing her father’s words.
