After spending two wonderful weeks at his grandma's, Jozen was excited to share his adventures with his father on the drive home. He eagerly recounted stories of their time together, from caring for grandma's rabbits to enjoying her delicious biscuits.
As soon as they arrived home at about 9 o’clock, Jozen immediately reached for the TV remote, despite the 10 o’clock TV rule they had at home.
His father gently reminded him, "Jozen, remember, we watch TV at 10 o’clock. Please turn it off for now."
Jozen confidently replied, "But, daddy, grandma let me watch TV anytime I wanted!"
His father gave him a serious look, and Jozen reluctantly turned off the TV.
Later that afternoon, after finishing coloring in his book, Jozen left his colors scattered on the table.
His father reminded him, "Jozen, please put your colors back in the box when you're done using them."
Jozen responded, "Grandma was helping me to pick up the colors after I was done."
His father realized it was time to teach Jozen an important lesson. "Jozen, I know you had a great time at Grandma's, and she might have done things differently. But now that you're back home, it's important to remember the rules we've taught you so that you get back into our routine."
“But it was so much fun at Grandma’s!” Jozen replied, clearly missing the freedom he had.
“Well, different houses have different rules,” his father guided him. “Yes, you had fun at Grandma’s, but here, we do things differently and you need to follow the rules here because it is the way we are teaching you to be responsible.”
Jozen's adventure at grandma's house was a wonderful experience, but it also taught him an important lesson: that different households may have different rules, and it's important to always respect those rules.
