A little girl couldn’t wait to share her new dance with her father.
“Daddy, I have to teach you a new dance!” she shouted as her father came back home from a meeting.
“Okay,” the father smiled. “So where did you learn this new dance?”
“From the dancing lawyer!” she said while smiling.
“The dancing lawyer?” the father asked.
“Yes!” she replied. “Today at school, my friend’s father came to our class to greet us. He was wearing a red tie and a nice green shirt. He said he was a lawyer!”
The father listened as the little girl went on.
“But after he said good morning, he asked us all to stand up and taught us a dance!” the little girl said, her face filled with excitement.
At this point, the father knew he had no choice but to learn this new dance.
“Okay, stand up and follow me!” she instructed.
Dance Move 1:
Hold your head with both hands,
Then move down to your waist,
And finally touch your toes.
“Se Se Kole!” they chimed in unison.
Dance Move 2:
Hold your head with both hands,
Then move down to your waist,
And finally touch your toes (again).
“Se Kolesa!” they laughed.
Dance Move 3:
Hold your waist with both hands,
And twist it around in a circle.
“Ajigi jigi Maga!” they sang, spinning around.
Dance Move 4:
Hold your waist with both hands,
And twist it around in a bigger circle.
“Maga Maga!” they laughed as they made bigger circles!
The whole room filled up with laughter as they learned the new dance, and soon after, Mummy also joined in on the fun.
As they danced together, the little girl's father realized that learning and dancing weren't just fun activities, but also a way to bond and create wonderful memories.
The End!
