Two little brothers were playing in the living room while their father read the newspaper nearby. They decided to take turns reciting the alphabet from A to Z.

The older brother did it correctly, but when his little brother tried, he got stuck at the letter M. The bigger brother burst out laughing at his mistake.

Their father noticed this and called his sons over. "It's not kind to laugh at others when they make mistakes," he said gently while looking at the bigger brother." Let me tell you a story."

"Some boys were playing football on a sunny afternoon. One little boy tried to kick the ball, but he missed and fell down. The other kids laughed at him," the father said, pausing for a moment.

"The more they laughed, the little boy lost confidence and thought he was a bad player," the father continued.

"Do you know what happened next?" he asked his sons. They shook their heads.

"The little boy became afraid of making another mistake, so he started avoiding the ball," their father explained. "Eventually, he stopped playing altogether."

"Was that good?" he asked. Again, they shook their heads.

"When you laugh at someone for making a mistake, it's harder for them to try again," their father said. "And remember, you can also make the same mistake!"

From that day on, the little brothers learned an important lesson: to be kind and supportive, rather than laughing at others' mistakes.
